If you haven't already heard, Empire State Flea Market is closing. The owners notified vendors on August 3rd, giving them only two months to make their last sales. If this goes through, Hundreds are going to be out of jobs. They left no reasoning behind the closing and employees have said that business is still booming. I have already spoken to news 12 and if this petition gets 200 signatures, they'll run a piece on it if they do not already.

It takes two seconds to sign this petition, just do it:

Great Trailer For Touring Bands! An amazing price!
Selling this sweet trailer. It was bought new at Home Depot 2 years ago for $2200. It's been on 2 tours.

In it, you can fit :

2 complete drum sets (with cases)
3 Guitar Cabs
4 Guitar Heads
5 Guitars (with cases)
2 Basses (with cases)
2 Random Combo amps
2 Big boxes of Merch
Over 10 big bags full of clothes.

.. basically it's enough room for 2 full bands to lug all their gear in a tour. It gets tight with 2, but it works well. It would be WAY more than enough room for one band.

I'm asking $1200 or best offer. Email or comment me if you're interested!

I highly favor using Paypal, but you could also send me a money order or meet me with cash.

The Trailer is currently located at my drummers house in Keansburg, NJ. If you decide you want it, you can paypal me the money and feel free to just roll up to Keansburg and take it off his driveway. All that can be worked out very easily. The cover over the left wheel is a little loose, but a couple screws will make that good as new.

So yeah, let me know.

lifeguards needed this summer
i need some lifeguards for two pools this summer:
the colony in hartsdale (behind trader joes)
and one in scarsdale across from where the fine arts used to be

probably four positions available. pay will be at least $10/hour depending on experience, but maybe more. it's not up to me to give a number but i wouldn't be surprised if it was a lot more than this.

you do need to be certified
both pools are quiet. lots of alone time for reading. you're right by trader joe's in hartsdale and mrs. green's in scarsdale so lunch should always be sweet. as far as i know the hours are 10-7 at either pool and each opens memorial day weekend. it may be half-days for a few weeks or full days right away, but it is open daily from the start. preferebly you'll be available through labour day or you'll be able to find replacements. you'll be the only guard on duty for any day you work, but the schedules can be divided into half days and it's very flexible. just depends on working it out with the other guard week to week

feel free to call me or respond to this if you're interested:

Dr. Condren interviewed 500 women for her new book amBITCHous: (def.) a woman who 1. makes more money 2. has more power 3. gets the recognition she deserves 4. has the

Wouldn't it be great if you could be audaciously ambitious and happy at the same time? You can, and you will.

Ambition is a virtue. Ambition is the best of who we are.

The real way to have a great life is to see ambition as a part of your value system that you must give equal attention to along with other priorities you hold dear, including your spouse, your children, and your friends. In Ambitchous, Dr. Condren offers fresh, powerful tools for reclaiming your dreams.

Her 8 Ambitchous Rules provide concrete, innovative solutions to the everyday struggles we as women face, like taking credit, deflecting detractors, and handling confrontation, so that you can become more powerful and fulfilled at work and more satisfied at home. You can redefine your ambition in the face of social sanctions and unapologetically go after your dreams without sacrificing the rest of your life.

You owe it to yourself and the world to make the contribution you were born to make. Debra Condren will show you how to do it.

Dr. Debra Condren,a psychologist, a business and executive coach and career advisor, and is the Founder and Executive Director of the Women's Business Alliance. if anybody wants to be certified as a lifeguard there is a class going on from jan 8-12 9-5 everyday (though from experience won't go all day)

they need 3 more people to fulfill the class and it's $375, but you can easily make that back in a couple of weeks working as a lifeguard

winter is the the perfect time to take care of this: for all those going to college you have time off and it means you won't lose time during the summer

anybody interested should contact the white plains red cross
